ESSEC Business School
Julien Malaurent is a Professor of Information Systems at ESSEC Business School, where he also serves as Co-Academic Director of the METALAB and Academic Director of ESSEC's online programs. With a PhD from ESSEC, his research explores how users in large multinational organizations circumvent information systems. His work is widely published in leading academic journals such as the Journal of Management of Information Systems, European Journal of Information Systems, and Journal of Information Technology. Julien is also an editor for the Information Systems Journal. He teaches courses on digital transformation and AI management across ESSEC's pre- and post-experience programs.

Professor Charles Ayoubi, PhD, is Assistant Professor at ESSEC Business School. His research explores how organizations generate, evaluate, and diffuse innovative ideas, with a particular focus on the human and organizational factors that shape creativity and decision-making. More recently, his work has examined how generative AI is transforming innovation processes within organizations. Before joining ESSEC, he was a research fellow at Harvard Business School and the Laboratory for Innovation Science at Harvard, where he studied innovation challenges in companies, scientific institutions, and public agencies. He holds a PhD in Innovation Economics from EPFL and develops evidence-based insights to help organizations leverage emerging technologies more effectively.
