My name is Divyanshu, hailing from the vibrant country of India. Currently, I am pursuing the M2 (Master 2) – Strategy Consulting Track of the SMIB program at ESSEC, having begun my journey here in M1 (Master 1).

After completing my high school at a boarding school, I pursued Hotel Management at the Institute of Hotel Management, Aurangabad, India. Spanning over four transformative years, I gained hands-on experiences across the luxury hospitality sector in India. From delving deep into PR and Marketing to Revenue Management and the intricacies of Hotel Operations, as well as volunteering experiences in a Juvenile Prison and an orphanage, my multifaceted exposure led me to my passion to create sustainable value. My role as an Operations Manager at a boutique hotel, especially during the challenging period of a global pandemic, further fueled my passion for strategy, management, and sustainable value creation. To fulfill this drive, I found myself joining the SMIB program at ESSEC.

Since the past year at ESSEC & in the MS SMIB program, my journey has been truly transformative. Every day has presented an opportunity for growth, both in my professional demeanor and personal insights. A significant pillar in this journey has been the unparalleled environment that ESSEC and SMIB provide. From forging friendships with diverse individuals globally, broadening my perspectives, to seizing career opportunities, the experiences have been profound. The program's unique design and the community's inclusivity have been pivotal in shaping this journey.
