Hello everyone and a big welcome to you all!

My name is Zhelin and I'm from China. I am a student in the Master in Strategy & Management of International Business at ESSEC on the Singapore campus. I have a Bachelor of Accounting from the University of Liverpool in UK and Xi’an Jiaotong Liverpool University in China and studied in the Master in Finance in IE Business School. I was in investment banking for a year and in luxury consulting for half a year before I decided to start my journey at ESSEC Business School.

What attracted me the most to the SMIB is the Asian strategy challenge program. We have an ASC (Asian Strategy Challenge) project where we are given an opportunity to work with leading companies and serve as their strategy consultants for 7 months. This year, the companies include Grab, L’Oreal, DHL, etc. and I am currently a strategy consultant for Grab. The ASC project offers a great opportunity to apply my academic knowledge to real-world challenges and sharpen my consulting skills.

The study experience in ESSEC Business School is fascinating. We study in a diverse environment with small class sizes, fostering easy communication and friendships among students from various nations and backgrounds.
