Hi!

My name is Yuchen Wu and I am currently enrolled in the Master in Management (MiM) program at ESSEC Asia Pacific. Before joining ESSEC, I got my bachelor degree at the University of Wisconsin -Madiosn in the United States with double majors in Finance and Economics. The experience and knowledge I gain through the undergraduate program allows me to have a fundamental understanding about the world of business and allowed me to take multiple internship in different fields like accounting and consulting.

Through the professional experience, I identified my personal value, which is to "identify problems and make changes happen". During my internship at a traditional auto manufacturer, I realized that even the most mature company could be facing logistical problems that hold back the overall efficiency of the organization.Thus, the ability to spot and fix those issues is crucial in the world of business. However, as I curiously looking for the cures to the puzzles, I also realized that a consultant should be equiped with diverse skill sets to be able to tackle the business problems comfortably, and my previous studying did not allow me to have a comprehensive understanding towards the situations.

That's why I chose to come to ESSEC and the MiM program. As "flixibility" is one of the core idea in the program, I got the ooppotunities to tailor my study to cover my weaknesses and strenthen my advantages. I have the faith that the MiM Program will get me well-preparerd for my future career.
