Hi!
Nice to meet you! I'm Justina Hu, a current student in the Master in Management (MiM) program here at ESSEC. Before enrolling at ESSEC, I did a Dual Degree of Business Administration and Law (LLB+BBA) at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid while part-timing as a sales associate at the luxury house Montblanc. I also studied a semester abroad at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, where I had the opportunity to intern as a Fashion PR at a startup in Shanghai for two months, focusing on event organizing and KOLs. Right before ending my bachelors, I was an intern broker at AON, where I was offered a full-time employment. After a year of working experience, I decided to come to ESSEC.
Why business and not law? Why ESSEC and Singapore? Why MiM and not SMIB or MMD? After having so many professional opportunities I still felt that I was lacking in my knowledge and I needed a dynamic but international experience to broaden my horizon and fully understand myself better. Only understanding my needs and matching them with the current society I will be able to survive in a more and more competitive labour market. MiM was the logical choice. As a second generation Asian immigrant it is only natural to me to have the urge to come to Asia and have a look at it first hand. Singapore as the new rising business hub was the answer I needed. (Also watching Crazy Rich Asians helped a lot) Maintaining a European familiar learning mode but at a totally international environment, providing students the freedom but with enough knowledge to make the adecuate career decisions is what makes the MiM program stand out.
Do not hesitate to drop a message if you have any questions, we can discuss about the program, Singapore campus, anything you need! Can't wait to talk to you!
