My name is Abhiraj Verma. I’m 22 years old and I’m from Chandigarh, India. I’m currently pursuing the Masters in Management (MiM) Program at ESSEC APAC Campus. Prior to joining ESSEC, I studied Economics and under graduated from the Department of Economics, Panjab University Chandigarh. I have completed a 2 month internship as an Investor Relations Intern for a home healthcare start-up.
From a young age, I've always been interested in the sense of urgency that comes with making decisions and taking action. I believe this appeals to my natural entrepreneurial instincts and I want to take these forward. As a result, I intend to become an entrepreneur in the future. With a sound economics foundation, I decided to pursue MiM immediately after graduation to gain fundamental management knowledge and an in-depth understanding of the key market concepts. I felt that this would empower me to make better decisions as an entrepreneur and put my creativity to use in a more effective manner.
The ESSEC MiM program stood out amongst all pre experience programs. The Grand Ecole program offers a comprehensive educational experience that includes a rich international exposure and has flexibility at its core. The program has everything – diversity and global outlook towards the new dynamic world, opportunities to learn in theory and practical from world class faculty and top industry experts and make strong connections with various people.
I’m an ardent public speaker and debater, a big foodie, a big cricket and tennis fan but most importantly a curious student who is always open to learning and experiencing new things.
If you have any questions regarding the MiM Program or ESSEC APAC or studying experience in Singapore or would love to discuss anything else – food, sports, ideas etc., feel free to get in touch with me. I’m always open to discussions and would love to help you!
