Bachelor in International Economics and Management, University of Bocconi (Italy)
Italian, English, Spanish
Ciao guys and welcome!
My name is Gloria, I am 21 and I am a second year student in the 2-year Master in Finance program at ESSEC. I was born in Bergamo, Italy, where I lived most of my life. Before joining ESSEC, I did my bachelor in International Economics and Management at Bocconi University, in Milan. There, I discovered my passion for finance while taking courses such as corporate finance and valuation. That’s when I realized that I wanted to deepen further my knowledge and pursue a Master’s degree in Finance. Being also passionate about the luxury industry, I was already attracted by Paris and its sophisticated charm and allure.
Being part of the ESSEC community gives you a lot of benefits. I believe that studying in such a competitive environment makes you stronger, more resilient and powerful. There is no space for being afraid of failure, you should learn from your mistakes and strive to succeed. ESSEC is the right place for motivated and hard-working individuals: the program offers many opportunities in terms of career and academics, but also connects you with amazing people and professionals from all over the world. Here you can refine your knowledge, specialize in a specific sector, as well as get precious advice which will help you land your dream internship or job. Moreover, the good amount of competition makes you understand the importance of being motivated in what you do. Passion has acquired a central role in my daily life, and it gives me the strength to go forward. ESSEC helps you build the right mindset to be successful.
I will be happy to answer all your questions and help you through the journey of becoming a part of the ESSEC community.
