Merhaba, salut and welcome to ESSEC Talk!
My name is Zeynep and I am currently a student in the 1-year (M2) Master in Finance program, specializing in corporate finance.
I come from Turkey and did my undergraduate studies in Istanbul at Boğaziçi University. Following an internship in corporate banking, I was offered a full-time job and started working as an analyst. During my year there, I discovered my passion for investment banking and that I was not ready to stop being a student just yet, as there was still more to learn about finance. I decided to deepen my knowledge of finance in a multicultural environment to broaden my horizons and chose ESSEC as my next destination.
I think what makes the MIF program unique is that it focuses not only on the classes, but also on your further career. There are many opportunities for networking and receiving valuable insights. You will receive an immense amount of support and guidance to prepare you for what is next in your career, and this is something I value a lot about this program. Along with all the interesting courses that are offered, I believe the ability to choose a track after a general course in finance is very beneficial for students to see what they are most interested in and to make informed decisions about their future career.
ESSEC is a great place for international students like myself, as you will have a chance to meet students from all around the globe and thrive in this collaborative environment with talented and intelligent people.
If you are interested in joining ESSEC, please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions you might have about the program, campus life, or anything else. Wishing you good luck on your journey and looking forward to hearing from you!
