My name is Vanshika and I am currently enrolled in the second year (M2) of the two-year track of Master in Data Sciences and Business Analytics (DSBA) at ESSEC Business School and CentraleSupélec.

Before joining the program, I did Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) at the University of Delhi and worked for 2 years in the Quantitative Analytics and Data Science team at Gartner. My experience at Gartner made me realize how transforming data into meaningful insights can lead to better decision-making and innovation. I observed how techniques and tools of data science and business analytics could make a significant impact on a company’s performance. As my passion for data analytics grew further, I decided to join this joint program at ESSEC and CentraleSupélec.
Apart from being taught by one of Europe’s best engineering schools and business schools, this is a unique hybrid program that offers a vast choice of electives, allowing students to create a learning path that syncs with their respective desired goals.

My journey so far has been great. Last year, I had the opportunity to collaborate with students from diverse backgrounds in the program and also work with a French start-up as a product manager of AI and ML based solutions.
