Hello, Salut !
Welcome to the IMHI Program !
First, let me introduce myself, my name is Jules and I am currently enrolled in the MSc in Hospitality Management (IMHI) at Essec Business School. I have been in the hospitality industry since I was 15 years old and the field has always give me great satisfaction through different emotions. Each of my experiences in various roles and departments, in exclusive and innovative places around the world, helped me to develop and strengthen my professional and personal skills; always given me new goals and ambitions for my future.
I graduated from a European Bachelor of Management in Hospitality and Tourism in Vatel, Nîmes. During this Bachelor, I had the chance to take part in a one-year exchange in Vatel, Switzerland, which allowed me to learn more about myself in a different environment while adapting to new cultures.
This Bachelor’s degree trained me to become an affective operation manager. But I knew I was still missing something, which led me to join the IMHI program. I wanted to pursue one of the world's most prestigious Hospitality Management programs, which would enable me to gain experience and position myself as a future leader.
IMHI is not like any other hospitality program. It’s very unique because it is part of Essec Business School and because you are able to choose your own classes and create your own path. What’s amazing in this program is that at the end of the day, all students will acquire different knowledge according to their own aspirations.
IMHI and Essec Business School prepare us for a successful career by bringing in the best professionals from each field to teach us, as well as hosting numerous conferences and networking events. There is much more to say about this incredible program, so please contact me if you want more information.
I know where you are now; before enrolling at IMHI, I had many questions about the courses, campus life, associations, alumni network, expenses in Paris, where to live, and so on.
First, I travelled from Marseille with my father to the open doors, where I met some very interesting IMHI students and discovered the campus. So, if you have the chance, I highly recommend you to come and visit us… Second, all IMHI students were very accessible to answer all my questions. IMHI community is a big family, everyone is always willing to support you. Never hesitate to ask for help; students, academics and IMHI alumni will always answer your inquiries. It is a real pleasure to study here and be part of this community.
Remember that I was in your position a year ago; I'm sure you have lots of questions. Please do not hesitate to contact me for further discussions. I would be more than happy to help you. Looking forward to hear from you soon and start this wonderful journey together.
