Hello, 안녕, 你好, Bonjour!

I am Sojoung, currently a third-year student in the Global BBA program at Cergy, France.

I was born in Gunpo, South Korea and lived most of my life in Nanjing, China. I received education in international schools for my whole life, which gave me the ability to speak Korea, English, and Chinese fluently.

Back then, when I had to apply for universities, I had this big concern. The multicultural background of mine gave me the feeling of not being affiliated anywhere. I could not fit in to one specific culture. While on, I discovered that ESSEC is a multinational university studying with real figures, additional language courses, and provides internships. That’s what led me to ESSEC.

ESSEC not only helped me plan my future career by providing inspiring courses, but also contributed to discovering myself, through internships and exchanges. In addition, I am sure the Singapore exchange next semester will be a life-changing experience. I hope you will enjoy your studies in ESSEC too.
