International Baccalaureate (IB) and Argentine Diploma, Saint John’s School (Buenos Aires, Argentina)
¡Bienvenido/a a mi perfil / Welcome to my profile!
My name is Simón (don’t forget the accent) and I’m currently a second-year student of the Global BBA.
You are probably here because you have questions about the program, ESSEC and its innumerable opportunities, and I’m here to answer them.
But before throwing your questions, a few facts about myself:
- I come from the hometown of tango and asado, Buenos Aires, Argentina – more than 11,000 km away from Paris.
- I have visited more than 35 countries, but I have never lived in any other than Argentina and (now) France.
- Before coming to ESSEC, I have never had a single classmate that was from another country apart from Argentina, Venezuela, Chile, and (perhaps) Uruguay.
Now you are wondering why – from everything that I could have said – I chose these three random things about me; and the answer is: because this is what motivated me to join ESSEC.
For me, ESSEC represents diversity and dynamism, with more than 60 countries represented within its three campuses: Cergy (Paris), Singapore and Rabat. The prospect of living in three of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world is something that I find distinctively intriguing – such hybridization of cultures, backgrounds and languages has enriched both my professional network and my scope of knowledge and perspectives about business and globalisation. And I would have never achieved this without ESSEC.
I know it might be challenging to make a change like this, but know there’s a big community behind you to support you in the way.
Having said that, feel free to get in touch for any further information about ESSEC and its Global BBA program.
