High School - Luitpold Gymnasium, Munich, Germany
French, English, Japanese & German
My name is Niklas & I’m currently in my 3rd year at Peking University, completing a double degree between PKU & ESSEC. But what lead me here?
Back in high school, I thought I’d go to college in the States and was lucky enough to be able to attend two amazing pre-college programs at Cornell & Harvard. Yet, when graduation date came closer, I realized I was still in “exploration”-mode. I was looking for an undergraduate program of excellent quality, but without that quality being bound to just one campus. In other words, I wanted to stay on the move & see places! With campuses in three continents & lots of opportunities to design the second half of my studies, ESSEC hit the needle. So far, I spent a year in France, studied in Singapore, did multiple internships in Japan & am now in Beijing. Being surrounded by people from loads of cultures, at any ESSEC campus, helped me figure out my destinations (& even find amazing internships). Combined with excellent classes unbound to just one campus, I have now figured out where & in what field I want accumulate work experience. For me, that’s East Asia & Machine Learning.
But then, that’s just my track ---- Your ESSEC track might lead you to Morocco, Canada and then figuring out you want to start work in Brazil. Send me any questions you have – and let’s find out!
