Hello!

My name is Cyril, I’m 17 and currently a first year GBBA student in Singapore.

I was born in France, but I’ve since lived in the UK, US, and Canada. I decided to join ESSEC since it was well and truly the best choice available. The university provides the opportunity to study across the world through its 3 campuses located across 3 continents. The many exchanges and double diplomas with partner universities are also
quite enticing. These opportunities attract a very diverse set of students who are ambitious, and are looking to build a strong network of like-minded individuals.

The weather in Singapore is also better than it is in Canada. I have discovered a lot about myself through the various interactions I’ve had with people from different cultures. The level of fluency in English in Singapore allows all students to communicate freely, and allows us to talk about ideas, events, and differences in lifestyles.

If I had to single out one aspect of the program that I really enjoy, it is observing cultural and social barriers being taken down. Seeing people laugh is heartwarming and really brings everyone together.
