Hello! Namaskaram!

My name is Jacob Zachariah and I’m from the state of Kerala, at the southern tip of India.

At ESSEC, I am working towards achieving an MBA with a specialization in Strategy and Digital Leadership. I’ve spent most of my adult life working for Accenture in Bangalore, India. I worked my way up the ranks while gaining extensive experience in the areas of Process Management (BPM), Product Management and Digital & Enterprise Transformation. I was lucky enough to have multiple roles throughout my career that gave me a taste of everything with expertise in a few skills. Through these diverse skills I was able to build a strong foundation for myself in the industry and the MBA is helping me tie all these skills together and transform me into a future leader. I chose to do my MBA at ESSEC because of the size and diversity of the cohort, the pedigree of the professors, the reputation of the program and the location of the school. Every day I spent at the school, here in the business district of Paris, is a reminder that I chose right. 

Apart from work I am interested in sports, with a special interest in football. I’ve played competitive football for 15 years all around India. I also have a keen interest in philosophy and psychology (we have a professor teaching us who has degrees in Business, Philosophy and Psychology. How great is that!), and I read fiction.
