Hello!
I am Ariel from China. I am currently in my MBA journey at ESSEC French campus, specializing in Luxury Brand Management track.
Before coming to ESSEC, I have been working in luxury industry for more than 10 years. My responsibilities covered Marketing (traditional & digital), E-commerce, and Digital Transformation. In my past career, I have worked for Hermes, Loewe, Longines and The Peninsula. As a relatively senior practitioner in the industry, making the decision to leave the highly competitive workplace to study full time in France was a significant life-changing decision for me. But as I committed to my MBA studies, I realized that what the programme brings me are far richer than I had ever imagined before. ESSEC has incredibly strong resources in the luxury industry and has very close collaboration and links with the leading luxury groups. On top of that, the professionalism of the academics and the strong alumni resources made me understand why ESSEC has the confidence to assist some MBA students who have no experience in the luxury industry to enter the industry. (And yes, our track is not limited to students who have industry experience)
Before applying to ESSEC, I spent a year assessing whether I should pursue an MBA and how to choose one. So I can help you with practical advice in this regard. Also, as a middle management in luxury industry, I am very familiar with the career development of this industry, especially in China where luxury industry is booming.
It would be my pleasure to introduce you the Global MBA programme at ESSEC. If you have any queries about our programme in Luxury Brand Management track, please do not hesitate to contact me. I will be more than happy to answer your questions.
