Bachelors in Technology in Polymer Engineering, Central Institute of Petrochemical Engineering and Technology
English, Hindi, Odia, Bengali
My name is Roomly Mohapatra.
Let me begin with a short introduction of myself.
I am a Polymer Engineer by profession and am currently pursuing my MBA with ESSEC Business School in the Strategy and Digital Leadership track. My expertise lies in packaging consultancy, sustainable packaging models and circular economy models, being driven by the concept of circular economy and sustainability. Europe being a hub for sustainability disruption was an obvious choice for me to pursue my education here.
But why ESSEC?
ESSEC as an institute commands a lot of repute not only pan Europe but globally. This is reflected in their alumni as well as the vast number of enterprises that are more than happy to associate with the institute. I found the curriculum to be more hands-on and practical as well as better aligned to the current scenario. At the same time, it helps me lay a solid foundation for the future with its learned faculty.
For me personally, ESSEC has been associated actively with people who are involved with sustainability (Luxury) and are also creating a breakthrough change in the field. Not only does it have a Chair in circular economy with most major brands but also its alumnus have created new startups for sustainability. Take any industry or sector, ESSEC has a strong network everywhere.
