Hello! Cześć!
My name is Jennifer Garbowski, and I am currently at ESSEC pursuing my GMBA in Luxury Brand Management.
As a Polish-American from the United States, I’m fluent in both English and Polish. I graduated from Rutgers University in 2017 where I received my B.S. in Supply Chain and Marketing Science. Upon graduation, I landed a role at Van Cleef & Arpels in Retail Operations where I oversaw the operational activities of boutiques in the U.S. and Canada. Afterwards, I was a Buyer for a luxury e-commerce retailer, working with over 130+ designers to curate the assortment for the website. I’ve worked in the luxury industry for over four years, and am passionate about the intersection of fashion and sustainability.
When I decided to pursue my MBA, I knew I wanted to have an international experience where I would meet a network of students with diverse backgrounds, have world-class professors and be challenged in my way of thinking. ESSEC checked all the boxes, and the GMBA program would give me the tools needed to succeed both professionally and personally.
The GMBA program has surpassed all my expectations. The student experience is one-of-a-kind, tailored to meeting the needs of the incoming class. The course content allows you to develop both your soft and hard skills providing you with a well-rounded approach to the practice of business. The most valuable aspect may be the program’s partnerships with luxury brands, and the opportunity to network with industry professionals through business trips, workshops, and company visits.
I’d be more than happy to answer any questions you have about the GMBA program at ESSEC, and I wish you much success in your MBA journey!
