Hi, Ciao, Salut!
I’m sure you have lots of questions about the Master in Management (MIM) program!
Firstly, thank you for clicking on my profile! In return, I’ll give you a short introduction to who I am and how I got here.
I was born and raised in Monza, a city next to Milan, Italy, but I traveled as much I could while I was there. Then, in my fourth year of high school, I went on an exchange year in Iowa, in the United States. There, I tried out so many new things and interesting subjects and I decided to study Economics. I then went back and finished high school as fast as I could and enrolled at the Università Cattolica.
I started college life in Milan and I loved it! While I was studying how economic policy works, I explored the area around my university and experienced the beauty of the fashion industry in my city. Walking around, I was surrounded by luxury stores, billboards, tourists, and fashion week events. I started to think about working in the industry. I had also always dreamed of living in Tokyo, so I decided to go on an exchange semester and experience life in another fashion capital of the world. There, I once again found that I love traveling and that I could work in the luxury industry.
That’s how I decided to come to ESSEC. I wanted to live next to Paris, to study in an international environment, and to try out if I actually liked the luxury business. I’ve started my Master in Management and I will be taking the LVMH Chair, but I’m also trying out many different fields since most of the curriculum is freely chosen. Finally, I hope to get an internship next year, and then go back to Japan to finish my studies with a double-degree program.
Now you know my story, so please don’t hesitate to tell me yours and ask all the questions you have!
