Although women are actively involved in the labor market, they continue to be underrepresented as entrepreneurs. In Europe, women constitute 52% of the total population but only 34.4% of the self-employed and 30% of entrepreneurs1. This is principally a result of multiple roadblocks encountered during their entrepreneurial journey related to access to financing, training, networks and information.
Co-animated by Executive MBA academic directors, Junko Takagi and Steven Seggie, this roundtable will be addressing a number of questions related to women in entrepreneurship with the participation of our experts Professor Isabelle Solal, Professor. Raffaele Conti and alumni entrepreneurs.
- What are the accelerators and inhibitors for women entrepreneurs?
- How can female entrepreneurs address setbacks on their entrepreneurial journey?
- What are the top tips to be successful in entrepreneurship and are they gender neutral?
