Hi!

My name is Aleksandra, but everyone calls me Sasha. I know, it sounds weird here in France, but in Russia, where I am coming from, Sasha is a short for Aleksandra. I was born in Saint Petersburg, but majority of my life I had lived in Moscow. Before ESSEC, I studied Bachelor’s in Management at Lomonosov Moscow State University Business School, where I have graduated from with highest honors. During my studies I spent one as an exchange student at NEOMA Business School in Rouen, France. That was a crucial moment in my life, because I fell in love with France and decided to come back for my Master’s degree. And that is how I am here today – being a proud Master in Finance M2 (1-year program) student in Cergy campus!
My passion for Finance was sparked by my professional experience and academic journey. I've taken several courses and undergone internships that enriched my understanding of financial world. Yet, I realized that to build a career in finance, I must dive deeper into the topic. That's why I applied for ESSEC Master in Finance program, attracted by its challenging curriculum, unique opportunities, and esteemed standing. The program is very challenging, making one a vast-scope expert in finance. You will learn the topic from all possible sides. The professors are very friendly and open, classes are engaging, and you will have time to fully understand each topic even if you are unfamiliar with a question.
What I like most about ESSEC is probably people. I am completely sincere and honest when I am saying that I have never been in such a well-educated, intelligent, and goal-oriented community, and I am so proud to be surrounded by these people. Not only that, but Career services, Alumni network, K-lab, Sports Center, dozens of associations, and other resources provided by ESSEC makes it a perfect place to start your career journey! Overall, ESSEC gives you limitless opportunities to grow both personally and professionally.
