Hello! My name is Sarah, I am an American from Rochester, New York, and I am currently pursuing my Global MBA in the Hospitality Management major with ESSEC Business School.

My nickname in preschool was Little Miss Hospitality, so this industry has been a lifelong passion. Before coming to ESSEC, I worked in restaurants and ski resorts during high school. Following that, I worked for 11 years in hotel operations: 4 years during my undergraduate degree at The Statler Hotel on campus, and then 7 years in Front Office and Guest Relations Management with Four Seasons, The Lowell Hotel and Mandarin Oriental in New York, Paris and Washington D.C. I absolutely loved serving my guests, but wanted to push my career and myself even further than operations and create a business for a growing global community.

After looking at different MBA programs that all seemed the same and didn't have much to do with this industry I loved, I found ESSEC online and decided to apply. I haven't looked back since. Their focus on globalization, entrepreneurship, pushing boundaries, strong alumni networking and unique track majors was exactly what I was looking for to move forward into my new future. I hope to take my knowledge gained here and create my own business centered around international student and expatriate hospitality and logistics.

I'm happy to answer any questions you may have about the program or our experiences coming here. So hit me up: I would love to assist you!
