BSc Business Finance, EU Business School, Barcelona

Dear future ESSEC student,
My name is Ghali BENBOUJIDA and I am originally from Morocco. After spending 4 years studying Business Finance in Barcelona, Spain and then 6 month in Paris working in an investment bank, I decided to further my ever-growing development in an international, innovative and ingenious environment like ESSEC, first in the Singapore campus before heading to Cergy to complete my master degree.
Today’s world is constantly changing, requires people to come up with imaginative solutions to solve complex problems, to have self-confidence and self-esteem while at the same time it increases competitiveness among people and raises standards of excellence.
Each student has his own background and his own capabilities, his way of analyzing and understanding the material at hand, the discussions, the group projects and the experiences that shape his persona, and because we are all so different, we shouldn’t be required to respond in the same way to a certain methodology, a master program that is preparing its students for the rest of their lives, to become successful entrepreneurs and business people, to become a source of inspiration for future generations should focus mainly on helping its students become more autonomous, to have self-confidence and be self-sufficient, to make them aware of their potential, and that with hard-work, nothing is impossible.
ESSEC MiM – Grande Ecole program encompasses all of the positive features above mentioned and thanks to its alliance with leading universities from around the world, its students’ societies, its innovative way of teaching that help students develop skills to become a life-long learner, the fact that it allows its students to choose up to 70% of the content of their program and to require 18 month work experience by the end of the master, for me, makes it the best option to pursue my development and maximize my learning and educational experience.
By choosing to follow my intuition and refusing to take failure for its literal meaning, I firmly believe that I ended up finding the educational system that best supported my academic progress.
If you’re curious to learn more about ESSEC and what you can gain by becoming part of our community, do not hesitate to write to me and I will gladly help you make the right choice!
