MEET OUR SPEAKER
Dr. Shahab Rezaei-Mazinani is a postdoctoral researcher at Collège de France in the Center for Interdisciplinary Research in Biology. He received a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering (K. N. Toosi University of Technology of Tehran), a M.Sc. in Systems Design (Fachhochschule Kaernten and Academic Medical Center of the University of Amsterdam) and he obtained his Ph.D. with Honors (École des Mines de Saint-Étienne - Centre Charpak Provence).
During his doctoral studies, he worked on the development of organic optoelectronic systems for neuroscience applications. His works have been published in peer-reviewed scientific journals such as Advanced Materials Technologies and American Institut of Physics (AIP) Advances.
In Collège de France, his research focuses on understanding the sensory perception and behavior in neural circuits. For this aim, he works on algorithmic and artificial intelligence methods in computational biology combined with in-vivo imaging approaches.
