Hugues Witvoet, Business Director - La Vallée Village & Maasmechelen – Value Retail

Hugues Witovet joined Value Retail in March 2014 as the Business Director for La Vallée Village. Since 2015, he has been in charge of both Maasmechelen and La Vallée Villages. Hugues, in his rich and international professional past, was the CEO of Edcon department stores in South Africa until 2014, was CEO, Watson Luxury Group Europe (including Marionnaud Europe), President LVMH Investment Asia, CEO Asia, LVMH Fashion Group, and CEO Continent Korea (Carrefour), worked with the FMCG & retail practice group at McKinsey for 7 years, with Royal Dutch Shell in Europe and with L'Oréal in Mexico. A pionerring ESSEC alumni, Hugues was drawn by the challenge of joining an innovative and international group such as Value retail to contribute to the development of the organization.

Simon Nyeck, Exceptional Savoir-faire Chaired Professor of Brand Management and Director of the ESSEC Center of Excellence in Luxury, Arts and Culture

Holder of a Ph.D. in Marketing from ESSEC and a Doctoral degree from Paris Dauphine University, he is also a GloColl Fellow on Participant-Centered Learning from Harvard Business School. He has taught Brand Management at Bocconi University (Mafed), FUDAN University and Instituto de Empresas. His teaching and research interests include: anthropology of brands, luxury brands management and luxury consumption. He has been published in Journal of Service Research, The European Retail Digest, European Marketing Academy Conference, American Marketing Association, and other academic journals...
Delphine Dion, Professor of Marketing at ESSEC Business School

Delphine Dion teaches luxury retailing at ESSEC. Her current research explore luxury brand management and luxury retailing. She is interested in the management of heritage and human brands, the consumer experience in luxury stores and visual methodologies. Her research has received several prizes and awards and has been widely published: Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of Retailing, Consumption Markets & Culture, Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services, Journal of Marketing Management, etc.
