About the Masterclass
Have you ever wondered how game theory can be applied to decision-making processes in real-life situations?
In the business world, decisions need to be made by managers and corporations on a regular basis. Game theory then comes in handy, as it allows decision makers to analyze behaviors and predict potential outcomes in order to make informed strategic decisions.
Using examples ranging from the work of French economist and 2014 Nobel Laureate Jean Tirole to the movies, Prof. Pepito will illustrate the wide range of applications of game theory with three very simple games. Through the Masterclass, you will learn about how a working knowledge of game theory is necessary in the world of business. This concept is widely taught at ESSEC Business School, and will be covered in the Business Economics course of the ESSEC Global BBA program.
